Why You Need a Signature Service

Welcome back to another episode. We are going to be diving into three reasons why you need a signature service.  If you don’t have a signature service yet, I am going to highlight three of the main reasons why it will really help your business outcomes.

Before we dive in, I want to briefly explain what I mean by the term “signature service.”  It is where you have the same service that is delivered to all clients. It has clear package inclusions that are not custom-made for each individual client.  It's got a specific price point, a specific inclusion, and it has a signature framework or process you use.

If you offer three package options, then your signature option is the main package that you primarily promote.  That package has a very clear price point, a very clear inclusions list and a process you follow.

If you are brand new to business and you have never offered a package before, you will need to work your process out by trial and error.

Next week, I want to talk more about a case study of my signature service and what that looks like over time.

1.    Differentiate Yourself

  • The first reason why I recommend having a signature service is because it allows you to differentiate yourself.  You will stand out by having a unique clear framework of how to get results.   This will also give you a competitive edge.

  • Be clear about what you are offering and this will help to increase bookings and make you stand out in the market.

2.    Increases Client Satisfaction

  • Making the client experience much easier increases the client satisfaction.

  • Custom work is about having to juggle too many items at once.  Therefore, if you have a signature service, then you have increased productivity and can give results quickly and efficiently.

  • Your goal is to continue to get repeat results for clients using a signature service.

3.    Allows Easy Scaling

  • The third reason is it allows you to scale easier.  By that I mean it's easier to promote a signature offer than it is trying to market multiple offers.

  • Your signature service can lead onto other services you offer, making your marketing easier.

  • If you have different services and different ideal clients, I still suggest having one signature service that you're at least focused on for the month.

So, to recap, having a signature service allows you to stand out in your niche, get better client satisfaction and makes marketing easier.
