A Behind the Scenes of the Accountability Club
A Behind the Scenes of the Accountability Club
Welcome to another episode of Business Ease. This episode I'm taking you behind the scenes into my signature membership, the Accountability Club. It is currently open for enrolment and we would love to have you part of it.
My journey of the Accountability Club, how it came to be and what my future plans are:
Business Beginnings: In 2017, I embarked upon an entrepreneurial journey as a general digital assistant. However, my path soon shifted toward blog and Pinterest management. I pursued this until the end of 2020.
Change in Direction: At the close of 2020, I let go of all my clients, approximately 30 in total. I chose to dedicate my time to coaching and education. Teaching has always held a special place in my heart. At the same time, I have always had a strong passion for mentoring and coaching others.
Introduction to Coaching: In 2021, I launched some courses and began offering one-on-one coaching. My background in primary teaching fuelled this passion for guiding and helping others to succeed. Midway through 2021, I began to feel a longing to be a service provider once again.
Reintroducing Services: I decided to reintroduce offering services. I managed to secure about six clients in the first month. I soon realised that I really enjoyed being both a service provider and a coach.
The Birth of Accountability Club:-
The concept of the Accountability Club began to take shape. I envisioned a community that offered a blend of content, coaching, and accountability. This idea was the result of my experiences with various coaching styles, including one-on-one and group coaching.
Limitations of One-on-One Coaching: I recognised that one-on-one coaching had its limitations. In terms of impact, it could only serve a small group of people. Many of my coaching clients faced similar challenges. I then thought about the potential benefits of them learning from each other.
The Missing Middle Tier: On the other hand, I had also ventured into DIY-style courses. I soon missed the personal connection with students. I realised that students often achieved greater results when they were part of a community. Also, when they received feedback and coaching.
Creating a Balanced Offering: To bridge these gaps, I decided to create a membership that combined all of these elements. Real community, valuable content, and coaching. This marked the initial concept of the Accountability Club.
The Club's Components:
The Accountability Club is not just about coaching, it's about accountability too. Its core components include:
Weekly goal setting in Slack
Feedback and Question Channel in Slack
Monthly accountability process
A library of training materials
Weekly office hours in Zoom
A diverse community of service providers
Customized Learning: The training materials are organised to help members identify their priorities. Whether it's time or money, you will be guided to the most relevant lessons and templates.
Future Vision: I plan to continue evolving the Accountability Club based on member feedback. Future enhancements may include monthly prizes for added accountability. Also, guest coaches to provide diverse expertise, and ongoing improvements to the member experience.
Invitation to Join: If you're looking to grow your service-based business, consider becoming part of the Accountability Club. Take advantage of coaching, community, content, and accountability. Visit @withhannaandco.com/club to learn more and join.
